Kuki Yamashichi Pure Sesame Oil is a premium quality Japanese sesame oil. This multi-use oil is extracted using Kuki’s traditional “continual pressing method” producing a smooth and delicate aroma and flavour. It can be used in dressings, as a seasoning or as a cooking oil for sautés and stir-fry.
Kuki was founded in 1886, when Monshichi Kuki started pressing sesame oil in Yokkaichi city, Mie Prefecture with an oil machine he acquired from the British. It was at this time that Kuki’s commitment to sesame oil was born.
For over a hundred years, they have consistently stuck with the same unchanged traditional method as it was at the time of foundation. This process uses no chemicals creating an extremely pure light sesame oil. This aromatic roasted light sesame oil is found in many Japanese cuisines. The smell and taste of this oil is extremely rich, so you do not need to use much. The color of the oil is determined by the temperature that changes during roasting. Thanks to the intensive and balanced roasting temperature, pure light sesame oil acquires a more intense color and a more noble aroma.

Kimchi is a fermented condiment that originates from South Korea and can be likened to a German Sauerkraut, a South African Chakalaka or Indian Atchar. It is 100% naturally fermented and therefore contains zero refined sugar or vinegar and is teeming with billions of Gut Friendly Bacteria & Probiotics per tablespoon.

It has typical Asian flavours of Ginger, Garlic & Chillis which amplify the flavour of this product & bring you a condiment that is not only delicious but essential to the maintenance of good gut health.
