Returns

We offer a full return and replace guarantee on all Che Gourmet products. Return the product to us within seven days of purchase, and we will refund you your postage costs (at standard rates) and the cost of the Che Gourmet product in question.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

All ambient products and refrigerated products are delivered in well insulated polystyrene boxes with ice packs and we cannot take responsibility for the delay from delivery to when placed in your refrigerator. Please ensure you instruct whoever is taking delivery to refrigerate immediately.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

In the event that a product that you have ordered becomes unavailable, we reserve the right to replace it in your order with a similar product of equivalent or greater value. Alternatively, at our discretion, we may choose to refund you the cost of the unavailable product.

Payments

We use PayFast as our Secure Payment Gateway. Please click here for the PayFast Terms & Conditions which will also apply if you choose to pay by PayFast.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@chegourmet.co.za with a picture of the product.

Products

All Che Gourmet products are labelled accordingly to the governing law in South Africa. All products contain an Allergens section which denotes Allergens per item. Che Gourmet will not be held liable for any situation arising from the negligence of the reading of the ingredients and allergens on the label. The customer assumes full responsibility for reading all information presented on the label as well as on the website.
