DanMuji (Pickled Daikon) & Roasted Veggies

A fantastic light veggie dish perfect as an accompaniment to a protein dish or can even be served on its own as a main meal. The tangy sweet Che Gourmet DanMuji gives this dish great colour and vibrancy.


1Preheat the oven to 180 Degrees Celcius and line a baking sheet with foil.

2In a large bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce or tamari, vegetable oil, and gochujang. Add the carrots, radishes, garlic and lemongrass, and toss to coat. Season with salt.

3Spread the vegetables onto the prepared baking sheet in an even layer. Roast, turning occasionally, until tender and caramelized, 30 minutes.

4Transfer the vegetables to a platter and top with ½ cup Che Gourmet Danmuji Pickled Daikon and sliced spring onions. Serve immediately with the remaining pickled daikon on the side.


2 tablespoons honey or sweetner of your choice

2 tablespoons Soy Sauce or Tamari

2 tablespoons Vegetable oil

1 teaspoon Che Gourmet Gochujang

8 small Rainbow Carrots, halved

6 medium Red Radishes, quartered

3 garlic cloves, minced

One stalk lemongrass, tough outer leaves discarded, inner core thinly sliced

Salt, to taste

Thinly sliced Spring Onions, for garnish
