Making Kimchi these days has become a little like breathing to me. I have been practicing Kimchi recipes for as long as 5 years. Taking what was taught to me while living in Korea. The Ajummas (Korean Grandmothers) are strict with their family recipes but I was lucky enough to have been given all their family secrets and tricks of the trade. Traditional Kimchi is made with Fish Sauce and Shrimp Paste (also know was Seo-jot if you’re ever looking for it) but Che Gourmets Kimchi is the combination of 5 years, 15 recipes, 25 failed attempts at perfecting the art of Kimchi fermentation to create a Kimchi that is accessible to everyone! In this case it is a Vegan Kimchi and no matter what recipe you google or get given it is truly an art getting that jar to do what it is supposed to.

But with a little love and some good music making Che Gourmets Kimchi isn’t just like breathing, it becomes part of your soul <3

All the Kimchi Love
